Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein (pictured above with husband Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Maktoum in 2012) is reported to have left her husband, the ruler Dubai and one of the world’s richest men, and fled to London
Unconfirmed reports claim she has fled the UAE with £31million to start a new life and is seeking a divorce from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Maktoum.
One of the Sheikh’s daughters Princess Latifa, 33, fled Dubai last year but was captured and is currently imprisoned in Dubai.
The Princess made a series of videos before her capture saying her life was a sham and revealing she had earlier spent two years in prison after a previous escape attempt failed.
Since her capture campaigners have been battling for Latifa’s release claiming she is being ‘drugged’ and kept against her will to prevent her from embarrassing her father.
They now want Princess Haya having fled the country to speak up about her treatment.
The mother of two’s whereabouts is unknown with the German and UAE authorities refusing to make any comment. The Princess owns a £85m house in London overlooking Kensington Palace.

Tiina Jauhiainen, of the Free Latifa campaign, said: ‘This is a very significant in terms of a major protest against the oppressive regime of the Crown Prince by his own wife.
‘We would urge Princess Haya to use her global power and influence to help free Latifa, who is and suffering because of her own father’s abusive treatment of her. Princess Haya has the chance to help save her life.
‘Princess Latifa’s life is at stake. She may be a princess, but this is about freedom and equality. Equality, dignity and the right of self-determination for millions of women across the Middle East is at stake.
‘We hope that Princess Haya and her children are safe and that she well use her new found freedom to speak publicly about what has really happened to Latifa and we would urge her to contact us and join our campaign.’
Sheikh Mohammed is yet to comment.
