Following the disappearance of the Nostromo, and its occupants including Princess Latifa II of Dubai, it’s tracking system was disabled. Therefore, from 4 March when the yacht was just off the coast of Goa, India no one knew where it was.
The Nostromo Reappears
After 16 long days, concern was mounting for the occupants and their safety, particualarly with the Princess reporting hearing gunshots during her SOS call to Radha Stirling. Both Indian, and crucially, the UAE authorities had denied any knowledge of the Nostromo’s whereabouts or it’s occupants. Then, on 20 March the yacht’s tracking device was suddenly reactivated – and the location it revealed is both shocking and frightening for the Princess’ wellbeing.
Fujairah Naval Port
Fujairah is one of the seven emirates of the UAE and lies on the east coast in the Gulf of Oman. It is home to a military facility and it was in this port that the Nostromo was moored when the tracking system was turned back on on 20 March 2018.
The image to the left above shows a list of the vessels which where in the port of Fujairah on 20 March 2018. On the right we can see a precise GPS location with a map. So, despite the UAE authorities denying any knowledge of the Nostromo’s whereabouts for over 2 weeks.
KEEP IN MIND THAT PRINCESS LATIFA II’S FATHER SHEIKH AL MAKTOUM IS NOT ONLY CROWN PRINCE OF DUBAI – HE IS ALSO VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES – WHICH INCLUDES THE EMIRATE OF FUJAIRAH!
How Did The Nostromo Get To Fujairah?
With this cast-iron proof that the Nostromo was in the UAE, the next question is – How did it come to get there? The tracking system provides information on which port the Nostromo left, and length of time at sea prior to it’s arrival in Fujairah.
