For years we have fought to stand against oppressors in the UAE who are using torture and cruelty to subdue those who strive for freedom.
Princess Latifa is no exception, since her kidnap she has not been seen or heard from. Princess or not, this young woman could just as easily be our mother, our sister, our daughter, our granddaughter, and we will continue to fight to see her basic human needs are met. If we can secure Latifa’s freedom, we take a massive step towards freedom towards all people in the Gulf whose human rights are being trampled on and especially in bringing and end to the “male guardianship” of women.
There are many ways you can help – choose the best ones for you.
Funding
It seems the most obvious. If you can afford to donate, your money will push this fight forward in a positive way. Many talented law professionals have donated time and resources to help free Latifa; however, legal costs and expenses continue to stack up.
Any donation made will be put toward the expenses this international mission is accumulating, as well as publicising and raising awareness for Latifa’s struggle.
We will regularly publish here what your money is being spent on and the difference you are making.
Time & Talent
It’s going to take a lot of professionals making a lot of noise for our campaign to be picked up by the mainstream and a positive change to be made. We are all volunteers. Your talents could help us take the next step and move us ever closer to locating Latifa and securing her freedom.
We need journalists and investigators who can report on this crime and make our voices heard. Film makers who can create documentaries to evoke the empathies of those with the power to stop this. Law professionals to aid in our legal battles across the world.
If you think you could help, please get in touch!
